Bible study

We had a bible study last night. Hmmm...shud it be last night or last last night??? since it's already 1.25am...it's considered as Saturday morning now...so I guess I better say "Thursday night". ;P

Li Moi came over to conduct the bible study with us. We studied Mark 1 : 14 - 28. We were taught how to read the verses as if we were inside them...I mean...to use our imagination as we read. Li Moi asked us to throw questions about the passage...randomly. There were lots and lots of questions...some were funny, some were weird, and some sounded just 'kepo'.

Among the questions asked were :

1. Who was John?
2. Where was Jesus before He "came into Galilee"?
3. Who was giving the sermon?
4. What is "gospel"?
5. How old were Simon and Andrew?
6. What did Jesus mean by "fishers of men"? Did Simon and Andrew understand it?
7. Why did Simon and Andrew immediately follow Jesus?
8. Why did James' father, Zebedee allow him to follow Jesus?
9. What is Sabbath? Which day was it?
10. Why was there a man with an unclean spirit in a synagogue?
11. Why did Jesus ask the unclean spirit to be silent? Why did Jesus want to conceal His identity?
12. What is the "new teaching"?

Well...that's about all I can remember. Enjoy thinking out the answers! ;P Btw, John The Baptist was Elijah...came back to earth for the second time. :) Well...I'm super-sleepy now. So...nitez. Oh ya...I'm going to camerons tomorrow!!! So won't be blogging while I'm there. Ciaoz! :)
